Here is a few I took a couple weeks back. Haven’t had a chance to post them up. Used 2 alien bee 800s, one with an umbrella the other with my homemade beauty dish.

Quick post of a couple photos I took of Randy at the park this weekend.

That’s it no links.

Here is a cool piece of software that maps all your mouse movments and pauses. Its pretty cool seeing what photoshop looks like when you’ve been working on photos all day. Here is a link to the Mouse tracking software. http://dottech.org/freewaresr/13865

Got my new Canon 7D last week. Love this camera. The AF is super fast and looks really good at some higher ISO s. Here is a couple shots from the North Ga Skate Center. I haven’t shot very much Its been record cold in GA and the studio is a toasty 43 degrees.

I’ve used these old vintage trucks a few times now, but really haven’t shot the trucks themselves. They sit up on a wall at Junkman’s Son in downtown Dalton. I ran by at lunch and took a few quick shots. I processed out the raw files in 4 stops and blended them in photoshop. Gives it a crazy HDR look. Add some high-pass layers and this is what I got. I have to go back when I have more time, there is so many cool badges and lights.

Here is some photos of my friend Ben’s little girl. I have no idea how to spell her name so I wont try. Ben’s a good guy, I used to hang out at his old tattoo shop all the time. He has another shop now up in East Ridge Tennessee called “Skinpricks” He does really good work. Location for the photos was the best but I think I still got some sweet shots.

Well I guess the idea here was just to work on lighting setups. I have never been a big studio guy. Other the at work I’ve always shot with ambient light. Maybe a little flash here and there. So I came up with a little set up in front of white seamless and tried to get some different looks. For the background, I just stuck what ever I could find in front off the back light. For the green it was a sand bucket, the orange was another bucket. The blue was a Tupperware lid.
Well I guess that’s it.

Riley was sick so I stayed home with her after lunch. Took a couple photos. They are alright but seemed way to noisy. One day I’ll start writing out whole sentences…..

Here are some photos from my sisters Amber’s wedding. This was the first wedding I’ve been to in years where I wasnt the photographer. I didn’t take a lot of photos but know I wish I had.

Here are my latest photos from Thursday. Jenny and I went down the road from the studio to these great old trucks up on a bit of a ledge. Sweet setup because it lets you get real low without having to crawl around. I took these about 11:30 and it was already close to 90. Used a large softbox on my right. I posted alot of them cause I really like they way the came out. I guess thats it. I’m hoping to get a few more photo victims next week.
