I guess this is turning into a new project. Its funny I’m always tiring to come up with something new and I guess all I needed was some white foam core and open shade. I put in a photo of my super lighting complex setup.

Went out last Sunday with Sophie, and my brother Shawn To try to get some shots. I left my umbrellas at work, along with the soft boxes. so I broke out the home made beauty dish . Seemed to worked good enough, but didnt really spread the light very much. Here are a few I played around with. As always, I find stuff I wish I had fixed after I posted these up.

Got the new Canon 7D in a couple weeks ago but havnt had much time to play around with it. I had a session on Monday with Dessi, and Halley at the Crown Mill lofts in Dalton. Thought the photos came out nice but still getting used to the 7D. Here are some of the photos from Dessi. I will be getting Halley,s posted up later this week.

Here are few children portraits I did last month. Did a couple of these up at Holly Creek in Chatsworth, Ga. These are a few of my favorites.

Well I guess the idea here was just to work on lighting setups. I have never been a big studio guy. Other the at work I’ve always shot with ambient light. Maybe a little flash here and there. So I came up with a little set up in front of white seamless and tried to get some different looks. For the background, I just stuck what ever I could find in front off the back light. For the green it was a sand bucket, the orange was another bucket. The blue was a Tupperware lid.
Well I guess that’s it.

Here is a few from last weekend of my friend Brain. I got my new vagabond in the mail last wensday and took it out for a spin. Super sweet, every time I took a shot the flash went. I never had to wait on the power. I wish I had, had some gels to balance out the light but the still haven’t came in the mail.

Riley was sick so I stayed home with her after lunch. Took a couple photos. They are alright but seemed way to noisy. One day I’ll start writing out whole sentences…..

Here are some photos from my sisters Amber’s wedding. This was the first wedding I’ve been to in years where I wasnt the photographer. I didn’t take a lot of photos but know I wish I had.
